Your Daily Malkin

Shelley MalkinPop quiz, sheeple! Who wrote this thoughtful and realistic critique of the California GOP?

George Will’s latest column on the sagging economy of California and the upcoming slate of massive tax-hike initiatives on the ballot only scratches the surface of what’s rotten in the formerly Golden State.

The state GOP is a basket case. The party establishment epitomizes everything that is wrong with the Republican Party nationally: Cronyism, arrogance, waste, and leadership out of touch with its base.

  1. Daily Kos editor Markos Moulitsas;
  2. Moderate conservative Andrew Sullivan;
  3. Crazy batshit wingnut Shelley Malkin; or
  4. Firedoglake founder Jane Hamsher?

The surprising answer, after the jump!

If you guessed (1), (2), or (4), you’re incorrect. The above passage was written by none other than Michelle “Viper Woman Shelley” Malkin! Can you fucking believe it?

Shelley, you see, is a true “fiscal conservative,” and, in her post entitled “What George Will Missed: The Decrepit State of the California GOP,” she shoots some flaming arrows at some of the Republican Party’s favorite douchebags spokesmodels:

The party finally got a clue and voted to oppose the initiatives — but only after dumping $650,000 into Gov. Arnold Schwarzengger’s coffers to crusade for the proposals, namely Prop. 1A — the $16 billion in “temporary tax hikes” disguised as a spending cap measure.

Grass-roots activists have watched state GOP chairman Ron Nehring drive the party into the ground — and spend their money doing it. Nehring is a protege of open-borders, credibility-undermining Grover Norquist.

Woah! Shelley! Rowrrrr! What sparked all this anger, sugartits?

I reported on how grass-roots conservatives greeted California GOP chairman Ron Nehring with boos and heckles of “Go Home!” and “Throw Them Out!” at the Sacramento Tea Party on April 15. Tea Party organizer Mark Meckler publicly called out Nehring for the party’s waffling on the tax propositions. Nehring attempted to coopt the Tea Party movement for the GOP’s purposes.

Oh. You’re pissed because the California GOP tried to co-opt the tea parties? Well then. I suppose that’s fair, inasmuch as you came up with the idea!

Fiscal conservatives and frustrated taxpayers throughout the country have followed the progression of Tea Parties since Rick Santelli, online editor for CNBC, came up with the idea out of frustration earlier this year.

Now hang on a tick. Rick Santelli, employee of the LIBRUL MEDIA, was the one who came up with the idea of the “tea parties”? Wouldn’t it be horrible, then, if some crazy batshit wingnut were to write dozens and dozens of posts about the “tea party movement,” essentially co-opting the idea for herself? That would be tragic.

If you want a fun way to waste a few minutes, check out the comments on this post. They’re AMAZING:

the GOP motto: slightly less fascist than the democrats!!

When you come right down to it, this was and is the greatest cause for the California economic downfall. This immigrant population eventually flooded the public school system. “Free” health care for the same. Then came the necessary “bi-lingual” state publications, so that the I.A.’s could communicate more efficiently to get the state benefits, and so on, and so forth. All while not adding funds to the kitty via income tax.

The smart electorate will continue to move out of California. Leaving behind the illiterate, ignorant, and uninformed.

I’m not in CA, but I see the effects of the illegal alien inudation corroding our entire country as it has already done in CA. If we don’t get serious about reversing it, we will lose our country. The Chamber of Commerce wing of the GOP wants to help the Democrats pass amnesty. One more amnesty and we are done, as is the GOP, don’t know why they can’t see that.

    Deport ALL Filippinas. Bukkake queens excepted. If Shelley wants to stay….. she’ll have to take on Neal Horse-ley and his posse. Win-win.

    I agree Ken, send her home! She’s probably an Arroyo supporter and she’d be nabbed as soon as she stepped off the Manila Tarmac. There is something to be said for a country that won’t kidnap and/or imprison you on suspicions of terrorism….

    Ah the uneducated masses. If they only knew that their silly “country” is a load of shit, fabricated in the minds of white slave-owners who wanted to be free. Borders, national language, race, ethnicity, PRIDE…it’s all horseshit.

    also, god forbid people in the southwest have to learn a language other than english (which they dont even use properly to begin with).

  • chascates

    Wait, WAIT! I thought Grover Norquist was second only to Reagan in the GOP pantheon.

    You know, “malkin” is a Middle-English word which means unintelligent and unsophisticated lower-class woman, and it is the word from which the word “merkin” comes? Just thought you all might want to know…

    Good to see this ugly, fetid stench of a woman has zero understanding of how CA originally got into its fiscal mess.

    Also good to see that when economic times get tough us good ol’ humans always find a weak and politically powerless minority to blame everything on. This is one of most endearing traits, one we’ve put on display for thousands of years.

    I wish Hopey would announce an amnesty for all ‘illegal’ aliens (no one is illegal) and pass another stimulus bill giving them free education, free health care and instant voting rights. Yeah, right. The DINOs would kill that baby before it even took its first breath.
