This new addition to the edition is “Updates From Space,” where it will appear when it is necessary to post, from friend “Fancy Pants,” who is a girl! Wearing pants!

UPDATES FROM SPACE: Politics is the happy medium between pop star paparazzi followers and religion. Its the tabloids of intellectuals, and yet almost religious. Partisan politics are religion. Despite logic, people will fall into a belief of righteousness; Conservative vs. Liberal; Republican vs. Democrat; Christian vs. Islamic. But in honesty, it’s all bullshit. We’re all fucking people, on the same fucking planet. And quite frankly, again— it’s all bullshit.

Let’s bring it back around to the beginning, which was never introduced— that the Obama press conference was successful by two things: his admittance that partisan bullshit is killing the future of our nation, and his honesty— that he, and we, are overwhelmed by an undefinable myriad of truly serious problems— such as his stating “Spectacular Bombings in Iraq,” in which the story of the next two days may be as useful as the last eight years, but whatever.

So, more bipartisanship? Like the bipartisan compromise that stripped pandemic preparedness from the stimulus package? More of that?

No, no, no. Liberal Democrat Islamics shouldn’t compromise, we should win! Crush our enemies underfoot and pass the EFCA, a cap-and-trade climate bill, universal healthcare, and mandatory gay marriage for everyone. Get on board! If you’re not with us, you’re against us!

Brendan’s got a point. When the next election comes round, how will people decide if the Obama is worthy of another 4 years if it’s been diluted with the Republicans’ crazy ideas.
The Democrats should rule unhindered until the Republicans starting making some sense. E.g. When we are actually teetering on the edge of communism and I’m personally being taxed 80%.

Also, the whole idea of a girl in pants is unnatural and I must object in strongest possible terms.

To state the obvious, the Republicans want to be able to say, while running for office in 2010 & 2012 that Obama reneged on his promise of bipartisanship. And to do this all the Republicans have to do is not cooperate, at all, ever, with Obama. Then they can easily say that he did not practice bipartisanship. And their shrinking number of brainless zombie followers are too stoopid to understand this little trick so it will work. With about 12% of adult voters. So it will fail.

Just so we’re clear on this.
